ABOUT ME
My Story

I am Chenthil Mohan, an Indian sports photographer based in Bangalore. My journey in photography began in 2010. I balanced commercial and wedding photography to support my true passion—capturing the world of sports. Over the last decade, I have dedicated myself to documenting Indian sports. I specialize in cycling, tennis, and swimming, while always seeking new sporting action to explore.
This journey began with photographing my local cycling community in Bangalore. Since then, I have consistently covered Indian cycling in all its forms—Track, Road, and MTB. I have also expanded into tennis, swimming, and endurance sports. Beyond international events, I have documented top domestic competitions, including national championships across multiple disciplines.
What drives me is the resilience of athletes—the unseen battles they fight to reach the start line. Through my work, I aim to bring visibility to underrepresented Indian sports and athletes, helping to grow the sporting culture by telling their stories through compelling visuals. I also collaborate with independent athletes to build professional portfolios, helping them market themselves better.
My commercial projects include working with leading global brands and fitness and healthcare companies to craft impactful imagery.
When I’m not chasing the next big sporting moment, I share my life with my wife, Freya, and our four-legged family of cats and dogs—who, of course, are the true bosses of the house.
